About Aspen Hill Films - People Techniques Equipment

Aspen Hill Films uses professional quality video and audio recording techniques, and postproduction.

Our equipment includes:

• Canon XL2 and GL2 digital mini-DV cameras; plus additional Sony digital video cameras
• Manfrotto (distributed by Bogen) fluid head tripods
• A complete array of wired (XLR) and wireless microphones, including Shure, Audio-Technica, Sennheiser, and Azden
• Final Cut Pro Studio digital editing software on an Apple PowerMac G-5
• DVD authorizing using Apple DVD Studio Pro 4
• Capability of Super 8 and 8mm Film-to-Video Transfer.

Dave Renné, the owner of Aspen Hill Films, has been working on renewable energy and environmental programs in the U.S. and throughout the world for nearly 30 years. For the past twelve years he has been working on international projects at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, Colorado. He has been devoted to filmmaking his entire life, and studied film during his graduate student days at Colorado State University in Ft. Collins. He has recently begun to merge his knowledge of renewable energy and sustainable practices with his passion for filmmaking.

Paulette Middleton (Panorama Pathways), environmental expert and renewable energy advocate, is Aspen Hill Films' collaborating partner.

Maren Middleton (Positive Pace) is the webmaster for Aspen Hill Films.
